Employment Positions 2026 – 2027

Homeroom Teacher — Primary/Junior (Grades 1 - 6)

This role spans two distinct but connected stages: the wonder of early childhood (JK–3) and the growing independence of the junior years (Grades 4–6). The ideal candidate understands both — and knows how to meet students exactly where they are at each stage.

Arabic Language Teacher

Arabic is not just a subject at TES. It is a connection to the Qur'an, to Islamic scholarship, and to a student's identity as a Muslim. The right candidate understands that weight and brings both linguistic competence and genuine passion for helping students build a meaningful relationship with the language of their deen.

Homeroom Teacher — Middle School

This is not just a teaching role — it is a mentorship role. Grade 7 and 8 students are navigating puberty, peer pressure, and real questions about who they are as Muslims. The right candidate brings academic rigour and genuine relationship — because at this stage, students learn from teachers they respect and trust.

Kindergarten Teacher - JK and SK

Kindergarten at TES is where a child's relationship with learning and with their Islamic identity begins. This is the most formative stage in a child's educational journey, and the right candidate approaches it with that understanding. You are not just teaching letters and numbers. You are shaping how a child feels about school, about themselves, and about Allah.

English Language Arts Teacher - Grades 5-8

Literacy is the foundation of everything students do at TES, and this role sits at the centre of it. The right candidate doesn't just teach reading and writing; they build students who think clearly, communicate with confidence, and engage thoughtfully with ideas, including the ideas that matter most to them as young Muslims.

French Teacher — Grades 3–8

The Elementary School French Teacher imparts foundational French language skills to students engagingly and interactively. This role involves creating a positive learning environment, designing curriculum, and fostering cultural appreciation while promoting language proficiency among Grades 3–8 elementary school students.

Computer Science Teacher — Grades 1–8

Technology is already shaping the world our students will inherit, and how they engage with it matters. This role equips students with the computational thinking, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills to navigate that world with competence and ethical grounding.

Qur’an Teacher Grades 1–8

The Qur'an program at TES is not a supplementary class. It is the heart of what makes this school distinctly Islamic. The right candidate understands the honour and responsibility of this role and brings both the technical competency to teach proper recitation and the relational warmth to make students love what they are learning.
